Today's daily pivot is 3557. Just something to keep in mind for those buying here. Also think of the weekend and any possible hostilities between the US and Iran which might cause significant gap down on Sunday night.

The market in a sleeping mode

It is better to wait for the weekend to be over before buying here, at least for the sake of a clear view of things. The monthly pivot for May is 3465 and should get hit. No buy above there is a good buy. Only if price touches there and stays above will buys make sense.

Like I always say, this war is far, very far from over. The people pulling the strings are not spending 2bn almost everyday to go drink champagne in Iran, neither are the Iranians joking with keeping their nuclear technology. Until then, it's going to weigh on risk.

These are my fallible thoughts.

Interestinf drop to 3570. And maybe gap down on Sunday night hence my warning to to buy at the top.

W/e summary

* Mthly closed as a bullish engulf thrust candle this week just closed. 70% chance of an upside follow-thru @ least as big as the candle itself, whilst price remains within it's body, re any downside p/back. The t/f is probably in a general uptrend, with 3159 becoming a HL on the t/f now.
* 4th consecutive bullish-bodied Wkly candle close. The t/f closes the week still rangy - most recently bullish within that range.
* Dly t/f closes the week in a general uptrend, the week's 3454 lo becoming a HL on the t/f after the LH @ 3576. Fri's dly candle closes as a bearish hammer.
* The 4Hr t/f saw a 2nd upside b/o of it's recent range hi @ 3599 on Friday, with price now back in it, after the fall from the week's 3657/58 hi. The last 4hr candle close of the week was bearish.

NB: The 2nd upside b/o of April's 3612 hi proves false, but the week sees price close above both it's now old Wkly Pivot, and above the new Mthly Pivot (where it opened, - it is @/around 3464.)
