Yes, the key is patient. Price is setting pace for a new month rotation and has completed point A and also a base at point B. The only controversy is whether point B will hold or there would be a breakout of B to the downside.

For me, it favour buyers from yesterday's low around 1.3210 TP @ 1.3250 and higher...

It's only a trade from yesterday Thursday that can survive today's price rotation. ....And target a breakout of 1.3250 to the upside or loose to breakeven..

I took my 1st profit with you yesterday at same 1.3250 and left the remaining trade till now anticipating breakout...


This is another way to look at price rotation.

Busy week it has been, with less screen time....,
closed my tues longs on wed with 227 pips, missed the shorts from that deep retracement @3302 for last month low @3158.
Until the 3158 Liquidity is taken I'm on my hands, no jumping on locomoting object , there might be weekend gap towards that, which will be early next week setup.

A 1st consecutive bearish Wkly candle, ( < 13wk awr,) just closed.) Fri's Dly candle closed bearishly too, ( @ < 30day adr,) and again a 1st consecutively. A new month started during the week just closed, - March's Mthly candle closed bearishly, (@ < 6mth amr,) - a downside follow-thru on Feb's bearish Mthly candle. The CML is 3181, with the CMH being what is now LWH,of 3346. Price closed the week just above the CML. A new CYL was set this week @ the week's 3159 lo, which is now LWL.

The Mthly t/f remains in a general uptrend. Wkly t/f closes rangy still, (after a false 1st upside b/o of the range to 3870 CYH,) and is presently bearish within that range.) Dly t/f saw a false 1st b/o of it's recent consolidation, an upside move back into it from the 3159 LWL/CYL, and now a 2nd downside b/o of it, and could be back/going into in a general downtrend? 4Hr similarly saw a couple more false downside b/o's of it's recent ranginess, upside p/backs inside said range, followed by another downside b/o of it. It too may be entering a general downtrend? 1Hr closed the week rangy-bearish, without a true recognizable trend.

Price made a move above the new Mthly Pivot (which is @/around 3289,) on Weds, during the week just closed, but is now back below it, which is where it opened the new month. Price still trades between the Yrly Pivot, (which is @/around 3120,) and Yrly R1, (which is @/around 4141,) where it has been all year so far.

So, all in all, a bearish end to the week. Another Uk etc B/H on Monday.

The H4 has GU well on track to a low of 1.3025. Some bullish on Monday for sweep above 1.32, creating the short setup, I'll keep short remainder of the week into Thursday, going long when price gets to 1.3025. That's essentially my trading week.

It looks that way. I'm short already. May jump out at 3160. But if they give a spike I'll get another short and ride it down all the while watching price for any dynamic changes in behaviour.

For the GU long on Monday, I'm confident of at least 1.3240, happy to sit on my hands there while waiting for the high to form. I'm also short Crude OIL for the pullback to 98.30, therefor long NZDCAD to 0.80x

Hi. Well, it's a scenario - one amongst many. I really wouldn't know, I just play my Edge when it develops, - don't have to worry about what price will or won't do next. Price closed the week near the bottom of a prev 1hr/4hr sw lo zone = pot supp that extends down to 3181, - the CML. There are overlapping/coexistent pot supp zones including that one, on 1hr and 4hr, down to 3172, then 3159 LWL/CYL, and even that 3159 lo was a 1st test and bounce up from a prev 1hr/4hr sw lo zone = prev supp x 1 = pot supp from 26th Nov 2025, that extends down to 3124. Good Luck with your scenario.

The mistake is forcing a trade just because price is moving.
The smart move is waiting for structure, not guessing direction.
Most people lose here because they trade emotion.
Professionals wait for confirmation.
No confirmation — no trade.

IF it works for you, good. For me, the bulls already lost it @1.3255/65. Anything below is bearish, hence 1.3265 is my H4 pivot for the new trading week. Good luck.

Why Most Traders Lose in the Middle of the Range
GBPUSD is a perfect example of how traders get trapped.
Price spent time moving between 1.3160 and 1.3240 —
not trending, not breaking, just fluctuating.
This is where most people lose money.
Why?
Because they feel the need to be in a trade.
They see movement — and assume opportunity.
But movement alone is not opportunity.
Structure is.
Inside a range:

  1. There is no clear control
  2. There is no continuation
  3. There is no edge

Only noise.
And in noise, emotion takes over.
This is where discipline separates traders.
Most traders:

  1. Try to predict direction
  2. Enter in the middle
  3. Get chopped out

Professionals:

  1. Wait for CONFIRMATION
  2. Wait for structure to break
  3. Wait for REJECTION at the right location

For me, the levels were clear:
Above 1.3240 → I want to see buyers with CONFIRMATION
Below 1.3160 → I want to see sellers with continuation
Between them?
No trade.
The edge is not in being right about direction.
The edge is in waiting for CONFIRMATION at the right location.
Most losses don’t come from bad analysis.
They come from trading where you have no business trading.
