Mate even if it was (XNOR, as causa sui) I doubt that it can help me.

I’m simply an intraday trader who works within & between sessions, Asia & Franky/London, and who closes shop before the runup to the New York volatility session.

I still think, in my own paradigm viewpoint, just in terms of the “aggregations” (collective buys/sells) and their current directional load
(which can be different to longer timeframe loads).

I honestly only use my frame of mind as to where are the liquidity areas (incoming trades & outgoing profit/losses),
and those potential “areas” I annotate as each new day begins (on my uploaded posted charts I mean, not on my home base live trade charts).

I annotate them as trader attractors, ie where buyers & sellers might later show liquidity interest, followed by the “someone/thing”
that will immediately take the equal yet opposite side to those (retail) trades at the very same time.

From there, whether my trade wins or loses is based it would seem on what other traders do and AFTER me,
in respect to which direction price then moves (see Jankovsky Time Compression pdf for more detailed discussion on that concept).

At the moment I usually have just two instances within each session where I have a clear enough view in my own mind as to where price may ultimately move
(and is often AFTER a fake’n’flip).

Whether this is a “cause unto & inside of itself”, as I think you are questioning above, I honestly do not know.


The market is what it is, to me, and when it does its thing, I plan to TP then get out and wait until a next opportunity arises, which could be two hours later.
(I entertain myself in between in the meantime with something else and just let the market move to another area of trader interest -
ie I am OUT of the market way more often than I am IN).

While everything trading wise can all be done by maths I am certain.
But myself, I just enjoy the discretionary interaction I have with the market.
