The USD/JPY long and GBP/USD short positions I held in New York last Friday saw a large gap in Tokyo morning, exceeding +100 pips.
While the USD/JPY only extended in the direction of the weekly and daily charts, it's important to keep an eye on the rate as it approaches 160 yen. Will GBP/USD break below its range?

CADJPY got a short signal. Looking for a lower m15 middle pivot. Asian session marched up to daily R2 during high volume big boy hours. Im thinking they interpret R2 as target for sell off

I don't expect the gap on DXY to close today, it presents too much of an opportunity for smart money to exploit retail. I'll patiently wait for the lows/highs to form.

i see Moty now and then on gold but i was here not too long ago and it was buzzing! Cable maybe is a lot more troublesome than others . im trying oil right now which is like sitting on a rollercoaster.. so once back upto decent equity will go back to the dumb ass gold just for movement at the moment

Taking the Russia Ukraine war started February 24th 2022, GBPUSD and EURUSD crashed heavily till September that year. Now United States is directly involved in this war and Dollar is safe haven, this will mean a sustainable dollar strength as far as the war lingers. The principle of gap closure isn't working for now as last week's gap didn't close and here is another gap this week yet to close.

Price build to 1.37 on GBPUSD is similar to this current multi year high of 1.3867. This means that the market makers had to shoot the prices up in preparation of this war which is similar to how prices went very high before global financial crisis of year 2008.

Guys the handwriting is clear, sell at every rise until the war is officially over, this is tilting towards GBPUSD at 1.21 in months ahead.
