Obviously now it develops another outlier in this dataset (5+ days)
For those who trade gap close or new to target-wise trading, calculate your exposure carefully - DD expectation should be at least = potential target or ~ATR(t_days) starting Mon open (if you bought immediately on Monday) in this particular case

"Gold with no Drama" starting to show small cracks but I'm sure GoldGod will police it well and stop the cracks getting any bigger, but you are right, GU update needs better policing, probably too late.....

GBPUSD_H1. Starting the week, I'm keeping long into the H1 pivot, price may push to 1.35. From there I'll watch M30 for a reaction. My trading range for the week is roughly 300p.

BlackRock fund limits withdrawals as redemptions rattle private credit | Reuters

What occurred: BlackRock capped withdrawals from one of its biggest private credit funds after client requests for redemptions spiked, the latest sign of investor anxiety about the $1.8 trillion private credit industry.
The fund in question: BlackRock's $26 billion HPS Corporate Lending Fund (HLEND) — a business development company (BDC) acquired by BlackRock as part of a $12 billion push into private credit in 2024 — received withdrawal requests worth $1.2 billion in the first quarter, or roughly 9.3% of its net asset value.
What BlackRock did: Management decided to cap the repurchases at 5%, meaning investors will get back about $620 million rather than the full $1.2 billion requested. BlackRock described the cap as a "foundational" feature of the fund, saying without it, there would be a structural mismatch between investor capital and the expected duration of the private credit loans the fund holds.
Why investors are pulling out: Investors are rushing to safe havens as markets reel with heightened volatility, amid mounting concerns of an economic slowdown, a prolonged conflict in the Middle East, AI-fueled disruptions, and loan defaults. Additionally, 19% of HLEND's portfolio is tied up in software, a sector that has faced aggressive selling as investors fear disruption from AI-first startups.
Broader industry context: BlackRock isn't alone. Earlier this week, mounting requests prompted rival Blackstone to lift its usual 5% redemption limit to 7%, while the company and its employees invested $400 million to allow all requests to be met. Blue Owl also replaced client redemptions with promised payouts.
Market reaction: Shares of BlackRock fell 6.7% on the NYSE, amid a broader market selloff following worse-than-expected U.S. jobs data.
The core structural issue here is a classic liquidity mismatch — these funds invest in loans and assets that cannot be sold immediately, which causes trouble when many investors want to exit at once.

The GBPUSD price action is sideways. Presently, it is retesting the 1.34000 intra-day horizontal resistance, which is proximal to the 78.6 fib retracement of the bearish swing traceable to May 2021. But we may still see a brief northward price action in the early part of this week before further southward price action. Technically, a significant bearish drive may lead to a retest of the 1.32020/1.30840 horizontal support zone (green).

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.
