I made this post with price above 3500. And how quickly this hit. I was not even trading it.

You don't need to leave the forum. Just hang around and follow the decent guys.

I felt the same way sometimes ago when I was fresh here. Tried all within me to settle scores but the more I tried, the more it got escalated .

As at today, no permanent enemy for me here in as much as you discuss trading...

Don't allow anyone force you into a corner. It's your life and we all have equal right to be together.

Sometimes trades don't go as planned—but that's okay when the long-term outlook outweighs the short-term noise.
In these situations, I always keep my focus on the higher-timeframe structure and key liquidity zones.




Although I scalp off the H4 chart, the Daily timeframe remains my guide for the overall market direction.
The drawdown on these trades has been around 75 pips, which is still within my acceptable limit.

For now, I've decided to reset by taking profit here and stepping aside.
I'll wait for price to form a new consolidation and establish the next liquidity zone before considering the next move.
This will clear my mind and give me a better sense of what price is likely to do next, before thinking of tomorrow party...

For those who struggle with trading with trend lines after 20 years in business.

So lets try long on GBPCAD to the daily S2(1.8447) at close of this 15m candle should price open above next m15 middle pivot

Massive move to the upside or downside. Would like to know your thoughts, please?

The Thought Process.


All FVGs and IFVGs provided the liquidity for this series of trades, trapping both sellers and buyers on the wrong side of the market.
These value gaps aren't just simple chart patterns—they represent zones where smart money can execute large institutional orders by triggering retail traders into premature entries.



When price enters these gaps, retail traders often chase the move, only to find themselves trapped as the market reverses to fill the imbalance.

Smart money uses this chaos to their advantage: they let retail provide the liquidity needed to enter or exit their own massive positions.
Price action then moves decisively to sweep through internal range liquidity (IRL) before reaching for external range liquidity (ERL), leaving trapped traders behind and aligning with the institutional order flow.

Target reached. Daily S3 interpreted by sellers(and buyers) as a bullish target from which price will rise thats why it didnt reach the H1 S1 level in the hour I entered. M15 pivot moved higher than previous with price plotting above that m15 middle pivot. Long to target Daily S2. Hopefully it goes even further.





Tip for pivot users:

The key aspect that we need to focus on is making sure there is an extremely high probability that the institutions interpret a pivot level as a reversal target. Institutions have a higher chance of interpreting a pivot as a reversal target if the pivots are far like R2/R3 or S2/S3.

London Session is the best to trade because it has the largest concentration of the biggest financial institutions and trading desks out of all other sessions and we want their interpretation because their large capital will overcome opposing trades. You can trade Asian session and US session with super high accuracy as well but London trades are smoother and more accurate imo.

London session starts later in the Forex day so we need London to travel to a pivot level far enough away so that london session can exhaust itself to reach the pivot so we can ensure that there is an extremely high probability the london session which starts later in the day interprets the pivot as a reversal target. That pivot is R2, R3, S2 or S3.

Its all about market psychology based Auction Theory. Interpretation forms market sentiment which forms the perception of value. Since i know the interpretation of a pivot through the way market reacts to lower timeframe pivots I can see when the market interprets pivots as targets from which price will reverse.
