The 1.3500 Tug-of-War: Is the Pound Catching its Breath or Losing its Grip?
The "Cable" is keeping everyone on their toes today! After a shaky Tuesday, GBP/USD is hovering right around the 1.3500 psychological pivot. We are seeing a classic consolidation phase—the bulls are trying to defend the 1.3480–1.3500 zone, while the bears are waiting for a clear break to target last week's low of 1.3434.

With several Fed officials speaking today, the US Dollar's strength will be the main driver. If they lean hawkish, we could see the Pound slide further. However, if the US data underwhelms, a relief rally back toward the 1.3560 resistance could be on the cards. Patience is the name of the game today—don't jump the gun before the New York open!

আজ বিকেলের মার্কিন সেশনে বেশ কয়েকজন ফেড (Fed) কর্মকর্তার বক্তব্য রয়েছে, যা ডলারের শক্তিতে বড় প্রভাব ফেলতে পারে। যদি তাদের মন্তব্য ডলারের পক্ষে যায়, তবে পাউন্ডের ওপর চাপ আরও বাড়বে। তবে কোনো কারণে মার্কিন ডাটা দুর্বল হলে আমরা ১.৩৫৬০ রেজিস্ট্যান্সের দিকে একটি রিকভারি দেখতে পারি। আজ কোনো পজিশন নেওয়ার আগে নিউ ইয়র্ক সেশন ওপেন হওয়া পর্যন্ত অপেক্ষা করাই হবে বুদ্ধিমানের কাজ!

...price extends it's downside p/back off the CDH, of the still main intraday upmove of the day so far, ie the AL/CDL - said CDH move. A 1st downside b/o of the 5min 3510-24 mini-range that had established itself for 1.5hrs +, and upside p/back to inside it.

Good example of the so-called 'Congestion 2nd b/o' play that. Ie an upside pullback from C following the 1st downside b/o of the A-B range discussed in post above, and then the 2nd truer downside b/o of it, @ D, showing again that most 1st b/o's are false, and per the question I pose in my post above, it's often (but not always) better to await the retest of whatever has been broken out of. Nice!
