DXY_H4. I have an internal structure that I'm watching, and everything hinges on the AUD CPI data about an hour from now. I still favor long risk, at least until the DXY hits the 97.285 zone.

Based on the DXY_H4 price action, this is how I analyze internal structure to determine GU price targets. H4 main pivot is 1.3650, with 1.3733 and 1.3434 internal structure high and low. This gives us an int.struc pivot of 1.3578. I am expecting price to hit resistance at the 1.3610 zone/SMA100. That's where I see month-end kicking in, with a high probability to push GU back to 1.3450.

Repeated rejection near 1.3530 shows supply remains active. Yet, bulls are not backing down 1.3470 support keeps absorbing pressure. This compression between resistance and support suggests a breakout is brewing. If bears step in aggressively and crack 1.3470, downside acceleration becomes likely. Until then the structure remains rangebound.

On the GBPUSD pair, the price is moving upward, approaching the resistance level of 1.3531 for another test. If this resistance level is broken, the next buy target could be the resistance level of 1.3574.

50% of Fri lo to YH/CWH move, and 76.4% of YL/CWL to YH/CWH move both @ today's AL/CDL. Fall from CDH has met 50% of the AL/CDL to CDH move @ the current p/back lo of that move.

Current range for the week is 66 pips of expected 225 pips

Current range for the month is 300 pips of expected 400 pips

With two and half trading days left, we may see 1.3333 between by or before Friday

See simulations

1.3732 + 1.3332 / 2 = 1.3582

✓Above 1.3582 is pointing at 1.3832
✓Below 1.3582 is pointing at 1.3332

Note: The only reason neither of these two zones will happen is if the range fails to produce 400 pips this February.

In the absence of US CPI data, AUD is the king maker. There's only one way to trade this, long risk until month-end kicks in.

...bulls have been trying to get a decent 'footholding' on the downside p/back from the CDH, for another leg-up, as evidenced on the lower t/f's. Intraday is presently still bullish overall. Some tight retail stops probably triggered above today's AH, on false 1st upside b/o of it to the CDH. Will likely be more above YH/CWH.
