Friday Showdown: Can the Pound Survive the US Inflation Heat?
What a wild ride for the Cable today!
After a spectacular morning rally driven by booming UK Retail Sales, the party has hit a wall. The US Core PCE data just dropped, and its hotter than the market wanted. This has injected some serious strength back into the Dollar, dragging GBP/USD back toward the critical 1.3490 zone.We are currently seeing a massive tug-of-war. The UK consumer is strong, but US inflation remains "sticky," keeping the Fed hawks in the game. As we head into the weekend, all eyes are on whether the Pound can close the week above 1.3500. If it fails, the bears might start next week with a gap down!

Those assets are worth hundreds of billions. Moving them also worth billions. They've got 2 big carriers 114 aircrafts, 600 missles, and a number of bombers. A few days ago the refuellers were also sent in to ensure the enough fuel for those machines. Nobody sends such an armada of destruction without using it. This is the highest scale of deployment in the Middle East since Iraq in 2003. So my guess is that Iran will not back down and those equipments will be used, unfortunately.
My guess again is Trump waits till market close on Friday before giving the order. I don't know how it will affect the pairs and metals I trade.
