RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug 24 (Reuters) - The global credit crunch is likely to slow the U.S. economy but should not harm Brazil's growth, Brazilian central bank President Henrique Meirelles said on Friday.
"At the moment, there are no indications that there could be a revision on the (growth) figure," Meirelles told reporters at a bank seminar.
Brazil's current growth projection is 4.7 percent. The central bank will give a new figure next month.

There were some ordinary guys reporting life savings to the drain during the panic too... Those was who suffered the most. Bovespa made an intensive campaign in Brazil to attract ordinary people to the stock market. Volume soared, Bovespa cracked 50,000 points never looking back. Now look at them...
And when I say I made a buck out of this buying and selling Yen, they have a stroke.
