CBOT where the Dow futures are traded are having some kind of data transmission problems. Their web site was slow coming up and just says eCBOT markets are being halted??????

Some profit taking hit the market around lunchtime and BANG downtrend is called out....

Just for the records, 13,200 is this month's open figure, that means dow jones is bound to turn green in the very month it faced this broad panic.....

Doesn't sound that much doomsday to me...

Cable 0055 is last month's low and 0080 is last month open. Some negotiation at those levels are expected. A really good news would be price closing this week above those levels.

Seems it is a server problem and they are attempting to restart trading host. Must be all those orders to go long to help move cable higher to rescue Soros Jr up to 2.1xxx.

LOL... It's not about this... The question here is that everybody wants a piece of the carry trades, but no one wants a larger than 20 pips SL... That's why the jitter...

When UJ and GU together have a bit of profit taking, say, 20 pips each, GJ goes down total 64 pips... No way you can afford trading this pair without a 100 pips SL minimum. I'm trading with 250 trailing LOL..... Almost got stopped out at 232, decided to drop another 100 since the trade is already +500.

so carry is back in favor?

im a bit to nervous to get into it.

i might try a long from somewhere around 229.00(gbpjpy) if i get the chance though. what do you think about something like that ?
