Yes, I noticed that...CNBC saids this is what a typical August should be like...but I also think folks are waiting to see what the Fed does...so it could be a catch-22.....

Dow volume - Very normal for end of august. You have to discount the huge volume on the big down day though. I would hope it wouldn't continue at a 3bil share per day rate.
