My view on Gold

Same view on ranging up top. On my side, M15 is giving short signals.
As long as highs hold, I’ll fade rallies intraday.

Happy New Year! It is Friday, January 2, 2026, and the first full trading session of the year is providing some early volatility for the British Pound.

The UK Manufacturing PMI hit a 15-month high of 50.6, signaling a recovery in the factory sector, though a downward revision from the initial flash estimate of 51.2 has caused a minor dip in the exchange rate. GBP/USD is currently testing key support levels as the market shakes off the holiday slumber.

New year, new trading setups! GBP/USD is starting 2026 with some interesting price action today. While the UK Manufacturing sector showed its best performance in over a year with a PMI of 50.6, a slight downward revision from earlier estimates has pushed "Cable" to test the 1.3440 support zone.

The long-term outlook for the Pound remains bullish, with many analysts eyeing a run toward 1.4000 later this year due to the widening policy divergence between the Bank of England and the Fed. With US markets fully reopening today, we expect liquidity to return to normal, providing clearer signals for the week ahead. Remember, the December jobs report (NFP) is delayed until next Friday, so today is all about technical levels and PMI sentiment!

Trading Tips for Today:

Support Zone: Watch the 1.3437 – 1.3446 area closely. If this holds, it’s a strong "buy the dip" opportunity.

Resistance Targets: If bulls regain momentum, the first target is 1.3489, followed by the major 1.3550 barrier.

Strategy: Stay patient as volume returns to the market. A daily close above 1.3500 would confirm that the 2025 uptrend is ready for its next leg up.

Little bias on the LONG GU side...

The MM was clever on Wednesday, price did not clip 1.34, so they are likely to sweep below that level today.

Hello. Hope everyone had a good Xmas, and has a Happy New Year!

Turning to trading; Zebi posted a Qtrly and Yrly chart y/day showing a Qtrlybullish pinbar candle close, and a Yrly bullish engulfing candle close, as price continued it's now multi-year upside recovery last year overall, off the immediate post-Kwarteng/Truss lo @ 1.0327. Looking @ the Mthly t/f, the Dec'2025 candle closed bullishly, making 3010 a fractal swing L on that t/f after the LH @ 3726. The t/f is currently in a general uptrend.

Price opened the New Year 2026 above it's new Yrly Pivot (which is @/around 3120, and below the Midpoint (@/around 3630) of that, & Yrly R1, which is @/around 4141. So, the Yrly, Qtrly, and Mthly candle closes all at least suggest more upside at some point, whether or not this is the greater probability/that actually plays out.

Mthly below

...this wk's wkly candle could close either way, although looking bearish right now, on this last trading day of the week, having traveled 71% of 13 wk awr so far. If it closes that way it would end the run of 5 consecutive @ least bullish-bodied candles on that t/f, and possibly create a swing H on the t/f The last fractal prints on the t/f have been a L (3010,) LH (3216,) HL (3038.) The t/f is probably rangy - most recently bullish.

...the dly t/f had seen price moving up from 3010 in a rising wedge, but the move down to Wed's 3401/02 lo/CWL ended that, but there is perhaps a wider rising channel developing on the t/f? 5 x consecutive HH's on the t/f ended @ 3534 (LMH,) and now we have a LH @ 3531. the t/f is presently in a general uptrend.

Dly below

...Intraday is presently bearish, 4hr and 1hr probably rangy right now. No b/o's either way of LWH or LWL yet this week so far, but today's CDL is the 2nd downside b/o of today's AL, which is still presently true. Today's AH (false 1st upside b/o of YH - still true,) is presently the CDH. Price opened the new month above it's new Mthly Pivot (which is @/around 3396,) and is presently still above it.

4hr (with 10/20/40 ema crosses graphic,) / 1hr below

SHORT GU bias...

GU likely to dip to 1.3388 area.

Silver went up 200% at one point in the last year, and it should be clear that the opens are actually very important.
The Higher the time frame, the better, because time adds weight. The gold-silver ratio has fallen from 100-1; silver was the best long between the two.

speaking of silver the main reason it popped was because of JPM

JPMorgan (JPM) has been aggressively buying massive amounts of physical silver in 2025, reportedly accumulating the world's largest stockpile (over 750 million ounces) and shifting from being a major short seller to a net long holder, coinciding with rising silver prices, tight supply, and strong demand for industrial and green tech uses, suggesting a significant strategic accumulation in anticipation of price increases.

i hope u sold it for a profit bones since exchanges raising margins because billionaires dont want a high silver price affecting their profits since silver used in industry more than gold


the last two times the powers that be fuked silver holders was the hunt brothers in 1980 and then again in 2011 and silver took over a decade to recover LOL

over the past 40 years silver hasnt done shit cause it keeps gettin smacked down LOL
