Could we see a pullback? Probably yes and if I was a scalper, I would look for the short trade looking for take profit at the 1.320 to 1.316 area.
Caveat, I am seeing major support from 1.32 Ish area from a daily time frame perspective.

The GBPUSD price action on the daily time frame went sideways at the 1.32250 horizontal resistance towards the end of last week after a strong bullish retest of the area on Wednesday. Technically, bears ae challenging further bullish drive and we may soon see a southward turnaround of price action.

Now that this trade has concluded with some luck.
The setup and execution aligned with the theory.
The Initial Thesis (Friday):
EW Count: Wave 5 completion, signaling the start of an ABC correction.
Liquidity Play: The expected down move was to target and clear BSL above the recent highs.
How It Played Out:
Wave A: The initial decline began as the NY session closed with formation of iCHoCH followed by iBOS
Wave B (The Liquidity Grab): Price indeed rallied into the Asian/London session, forming a clear Wave B.
This was the move that swept the liquidity above the Friday highs, trapping late buyers.
Wave C (The Payoff): Once the BSL was filled, the bearish momentum resumed with force.
The subsequent sell-off was swift and orderly, driving price down to our final target and securing the 120-pip profit.
The current downward inclination is not just a random move.
The market targeted the BSL sitting above the recent consolidation, the area of DOL @ SSL
In simpler terms, it's heading down to trigger stops above the highs.
This will likely create a false, but sharp, upward move to form Wave B of the correction—effectively "filling the liquidity" by taking those buy orders.
Once this liquidity grab is complete, the path of least resistance shifts back down.
As anticipated a strong Wave C to follow, resuming the bearish momentum with increased force, potentially at the London or NY open on Monday.
This is a perfect illustration of how the market moves to exploit liquidity, using corrective patterns to fuel the next impulsive move.
