there is no news or event yet but according to fib level maybe spike to 1.32300 (61.8) then there might be a chance of short positions who know let see how the price reacts.

1.3173 equating point C is a good zone to take a Short trade for a long term profitability hence the need for me to close my Buy trade.

I cannot also Sell because a single technical indicator is not given me option to Sell.

There was a bad data for GBP earlier today and the pair made a very good recovery, it looks to me like it's targeting 1.3210 Fair Value area for November.

Note that the Average first 10 trade days range of the month is 260 pips and so far we have 175 pips in the first 7 trade days. This means at least 85 more pips to break either 1.3184 or 1.3009.

As it stands 1.3184 looks more likely to break. See simulations below:

1.3009 + 260 pips = 1.3269
1.3184 - 260 pips = 1.2924

1.3269 to be more likely this week as far as price trades above 1.3096.

Back to your question :
GBP/USD is bouncing back spiking toward a familiar ceiling around 1.3200.
That level has rejected price multiple times.
The last push appears more like a Dollar selloff than genuine pound strength.

Then you have to look at U.K. data as it continues to soften — unemployment has risen to 5.0%, employment is declining, and wage growth is cooling.

This combination keeps markets leaning toward a potential BoE rate cut in December, suggesting that the pound’s latest rebound is mainly a reaction to Dollar weakness rather than any real improvement in the U.K. outlook.

Since price failed to make a good spike up to 1.3200 zone , sellers may step back in, pricing in weaker growth and a more dovish BoE — supporting the “limited upside” narrative.

With the macro backdrop still deteriorating, any rallies into higher levels may continue to look like selling opportunities for longer-term bears.

GBPUSD UPDATE

Good day friend and buddies. I am looking to Buy GU between 1.3110/1.3125. This is an internal swing zone.

I will be lunching an attach against the Swing high positioned around 1.3175/80 zone. If successful then good luck to me and all the Buyers

For now, I am still buying and if market sentiment changes to Sell, I will announce my price and go Short..

Risk Management is key.

It's important to keep you informed that I am a technician who trades when technicals gives signals irrespective of whatever the news result.

I may be wrong because nobody knows ALL and loosing is part of the game ...
