...any upside recovery attempt will be in the shadow cast by that perfect bearish thrust 4hr candle close nearly 30mins ago. 10/20/40 ema crosses are reflective of the strong move down.

...there you go Mr.Fanciful - some support! For intraday traders like me it's difficult to time an entry on the lower t/f's even if I have a set-up(s,) because price in this case is only in the dly/wkly/mthly parts of that prev sw lo zone = pot supp that extends down to 3140. Better for it to be in minimum the 4hr part (that starts circa 3161,) if wanting to time a 30min or below entry, but not impossible if also taking into account 30day adr % traveled and extensions of the prev day's candle.

Just to give an example of this, a fractal swing lo had formed on t/f's to 15min @ the CDL, and price was @ 99% of 30day adr, and @ 38.2% downside ext of y/day's dly candle but not in the 4hr (or indeed) 1hr parts of the prev sw lo zone = pot supp that extends down to said 3140. We had the 15min bullish engulf closing @ same time as the 30min bullish pinbar, so despite this, I took the long on close of that 30min candle, into the 15min set-up really, the 30min for me was not a perfect set-up, more a hybrid of regular bullish div and extr o/s re my osc's, whereas 15min was a perfect set-up.

So oprtimally, a 15min or below set-up needs to ideally be in a 1hr zone, (5min or below can be in a 30min zone,) and a 30min ideally in at least 2hr/4hr zone. Anything other than this is, for me, and my rules based Edge, sub-optimal.

And that's where we are, bounce up from CDL/CWL in the 4hr part of that prev 1hr/minor 4hr sw lo zone = pot sbr and indeed in that 4hr bearish thrust candle's shadow, @ the current p/back hi.

...have we seen the pre-fomc lo @ the CDL/CWL ? Time will tell I guess. Meantime, speaking of that lo, bulls presently struggling to gain any more upside traction after the last 1hr bullish close. The lo is a fractal swing lo to 30min now, will it firm up into a 1hr one?
