One of them: I had long us30 at the moments of Trump’s speach. Closed at loss and changed the trade to sell with tp. tp came but i had already closed. Others on Gold.

Great traders are the ones who can change their bias fast, congrats mate. You did good.

Your longs weren't wrong either, it's just that news can catch us offguard sometimes. Buying it back on Monday (if the selling off ends, don't wanna catch a falling knife) can be another great trade.

Yesterday before the unemployment data came out,
I placed a buy order on the pound, assuming that
it should go up to a pullback to the neckline of a head and shoulders,
and then I sit and wait for two hours and nothing happens,
not when the data came out, not when New York opened,
an hour later, where I already gave up and closed the position at a loss,
not after an hour and a half, at 5:00 PM,
which sometimes has an effect on a movement that should come,
only after two hours, regardless of anything, the movement suddenly arrived.
I have claimed in the past and will continue to claim in the future, that there are crooks in the market.
