US$ index trading gapped up last night in electronic trading. Filled the gap now and not too far away (81.76) from support 81.50

I think we will see renewed buying in the dollar. Short term of course. "Nothing to write home about".

And then further down for cable.

BTW those who claim we are still in an uptrend. Do any of you have trades on before the 7/24/07 top. If not, then how can you say trend is still up?

MACD still on bear, but stochastic already crossed in 4H chart...

If you buy a pair or sell a pair with enough large funds and you hold enough long (watch for the interest rates) one day you might be in profit.. no sl of course....

My technical indicators are no good today... They all just don't support each other, so I'll be wise and stay out. I'll be better lose opportunity than to lose my capital....

I was THIS close to shorting the TL underside touch at 1.0860, but then thought ah hell, naw, maybe it'll get through! .....aaaaaaaand it didn't
Then again - getting 200 up and then 200 down within 24 hours woulda been a bit greedy, no?

Carry will get a bit of reprieve now I expect, but personally I prefer to keep looking for shorts after seeing the fun today ;p

Euro touched an extreme support too.

Seems everything is at extreme levels.

Thanks for the heads up on the chart. Yes, this trendline matches with Chinese meltdown and current level, at open, matches previous top before China crash.

But I'm nurturing ZERO hopes on indicators like that. Chinese crisis was a whole world different.

Right now we are at a critical level and loss of confidence just started accelerating, now that 13,00 is gone.

I'm gonna grab some pips out of this FED infusion and run. First sign this trendline is going down, I'm shortig carries on their rallies... (strategy full of if, mights, maybe.... )

OK put up a weekly chart, monthly even yearly but what is everybody trading - what happened the last few days or a week or two. Who here holds for longer than a day or two, at most?

So why the emphasis on what happened months ago. How much more further down does cable have to go to change minds?
