today i am trading GBPUSD
so if i were you i will be careful if i buy,
USD index is weak yes but don't count the Dollar out just YET.
sold 3610
target 3550
could not get there today and if not i will take 30 pips and call it a day.
but as usual i always have 2 trades so next i will wait.
there is so much chaoes and confusion in the market.
now the main question is whether FED will go for 0.25 or .50%
and that will make a huge difference.
look at gold all time high 3650
but we are here for Pound.
so lets analyze.
UK economy is not in good shape to be honest if you look at the bigger picture.
but if USD keep faling that is also not good if you are selling pound.
and 0.25% rate cut is already priced in 90% gold is up 300$ that says something no?

that is why i am not using leverage.
because honestly i am not sure but what i know from past experience is USD is still the world reserve currency,
and at times like that most of the time but Trump wants weaker dollar.
lower rates because when interest rate is too low,
you get almost nothing so investors tend to go back to inveting stocks ot what ever business
and that will flood the market with dollars. always look at the bigger picture.

lets say you bank is giving you 4% yearly and stocks are giving you 8-10% which one will you choose?
as invsetor you will choose stocks.
see S&P500
but as a saver you want security because you want to live in your comfort zone.
so you will chose bank.

but investing is not about taking risk its about managing risk.

you never thing about how much you may make first you think how much you are willing to loose.
and FED meeting coming in few days it will volatile market
banks, hedge funds, intitutions even GOVT's trade,
as they say,
money mankes the world go around.
for me the question is even if 0.25% but what powel says after that will be the important part.
if he sais what he always says,

then USd may rebound.

...so, price tests very top of that pot res zone to 3619 @ CDH/CWH, as described in my posts above, and again some supply is met. On 4hr this zone is @ bottom of another prev sw hi zone = pot res on that t/f that extends up to 3647. So much going on on 1hr and 4hr from a few weeks back in terms of pot res/sbr zones to the upside, but on dly clearing 3631 (top of that prev sw lo zone = pot sbr mentioned in a post above,) means a clear run on the t/f up to the next pot res zone which is a prev minor sw hi zone = pot res that extends up to 3681.

98% of 30adr traveled so far today. This metric today is down to 82pips!
