Awww...Man, for me...I need a full analysis technically to make me sure for the 1.9679 levels... Targeting on long term is not my choice, but if I have to... I'll say it later after doing my analysis...

The pair down about 30pips on the minute of release. Now, the pair is traded on 23.6% fibo levels (15m chart)... It seems that the pair is having nice time there....
Anyway, I'll stick to the plan, and remember to have PLAN B if necessary...

) The red trendline was forming since 2006 April... My weight of that trendline is considerable... We need confirmation before considering a downtrend to 1.9 - 1.92 - 1.93 areas. ie close of the week below the trendline... and maybe further confirmations as well... Have fun

when the euro was defendend at 1.25, it was then bounce to 1.33, will that happen at 1.35?...666 gold on offensive...(oil pointing at 66 as well....hm?)

FX Snapshot: GBPCHF is relatively stable within old familiar range. Good support is still around 2.4100-10 and a break lower targets 2.40 and 2.38 zone. First resistance is at 2.4200-10, then a major 2.4300-30 hurdle. GBPJPY broke below 236.00-20 and collapsed heavily down below 232.00. Levels to watch on a downside now are 230.00 and 228.00-20. First resistance is 233.00-10, then 235.00
Equities: Europe opened lower, FTSE is down 0.8%, Dax -0.7% CAC -1.2%. since the open we have been trading sideways and the market is looking for direction. Dax is meandering around support at 7370. One decisive factor could be the CPI out of the US as it will show if the FED will have any room to lower rates. We are standing aside until we see any direction becoming visible.
usually when the news says go short, u need to go long, but not always...22 avgust for further direction in yen carries...
my thoughts .... i was waiting for this drop to happen, for fresh buys...u know, ...up, down, up, down....markets dont go one way only...its still when...17 sept thats for sure...if henry was selling at 2.0500, why shouldnt i be buying euros at 1.3500....why not?...i know why, maybe i could be buying them at 1.33, 1.29?...i got a problem, with this maybe issue...

The mentioned April 2006 low (7248) where this run up started is exactly the 38% fib of the previous big run up (1.3680 - 1.9549).
:Anyway, since the fundamentals signal the weakening UK economy while the US economy is better, I think it is OK to look at technical (charts and indicators) to take action, SL, TP...

How much is your SL? It looks like you're afraid of "something" to spike the 5m chart...
Anyway, since the fundamentals signal the weakening UK economy while the US economy is better, I think it is OK to look at technical (charts and indicators) to take action, SL, TP...

And also, this 1.9% CPI is important for the short run, but we must keep watching it.
There's also the dollar downtrend that has zero fundamentals backing up its reversal so far. Worse than that, deficit goes on mounting.... On the dollar, I'm still bearish for the long run.
