Zeb, I responded to this comment, where you drew a direct correlation between likely Fed policy on rates and potential market movement.
For the record, when it comes to trading, I don’t care what the Fed does, not one iota.
when I get a tech signal, I look to trade; that’s it.
I engage in discussions on the Fed from time to time purely out of interest and to chat.

G/M, 5th consecutive bearish-bodied dly candle y/day, this one > 30day adr. The mthly candle will very likely close bearishly / at least with a bearish body (there was only a 0.36% of it closing bullishly/bullish-bodied,) unless it can climb 530+ pips today. Unlikely but you never know! Today so far; Asian lo (which is presently the current dly/wkly/mthly lo,) made a slight dip under y/day's lo for a false 1st downside b/o of it, and early London made a false 1st upside b/o of the Asian hi where it met sellers @/around the Dly Pivot. 1st downside b/o of last wk's 3402 lo (made on Monday) remains true so far, as does 1st downside b/o of Wkly S2. Mthly S2 is @ current dly lo, Dly S1 @/around 3181, with Wkly S3 below it @/around 3172.

EDIT: corrected Tues to Mon re 1st downside b/o of last wk's 3402 lo.

...the next obvious pot supp zone to the downside on dly and wkly t/f's is the one that extends down to the 3139 swing lo. In fact @ y/day's lo price had entered the wkly part of it, as well as being @ the 85.4% of the said 3139, - 3788 move up, (and Mthly S2.) The dly part starts @ circa 3172, and the pot supp zone is coexistent with and a 1st test and bounce up from the prev dly sw hi zone = prev rbs = pot rbs that starts @ 3208. There are of course fibs to the downside, and the nearest most notable one is the 38.2% of 2100-3788 (current yrly lo -hi) which is @ 3143, (not shown on chart below.)

I have noticed Rate hikes and cuts are mostly priced in by the time they occur as the Fed drops hints along the way and the market prices it all in ahead of time.
