Hello everyone. I'm fairly new to this thread. I did some more reading and chart testing over the weekend and I think I have a fairly good grasp of the original concept. Has there been any significant change to the original strategy discussed in the first 200 or so posts? I hope to use this system to eventually go full time into trading. The simplicity of it all is amazing.

bythepound... The 5 method is my favorite because more trades come along. Honestly on the 5 method you don't really need any indicators because the simple entry rules are so basic and clear cut. If I were to pick two it would be the tdi & stochs.

Chims... I almost always have the tdi & stoch on all my charts regardless of the method being used. However, it's not necessary on the 5 method for me. It gives people more confidence when they have it on their charts it seems.... and it's a good confirmation to the current PA and possible trade.

The 4 Hr., USD/CAD trade is up to 91 pips profit now... You can trade the 5 method without the TDI if it's a problem... PA is HA Candles, PA crosses the yellow line and closes... enter on the next candle if it's the same color. When candles flatten out... exit. Stay in the trade as long as it doesn't cross back over the yellow line and close. The TDI just gives me a lot more information for making my entries & exits decisions....

I prefer to trade the 4hr charts at night. My broker posts new 4 hr candles at 10pm my time (Pacific), 2am my time and 6am my time. My page when I open up my charts has 8 open charts. I just glance at the TDI for set ups when the new candle opens... If I see a set up... green just crossing red I'll take the trade, turn off the puter and go to bed. Four hours later (1:50am) my alarm goes off for the new candles and I take a peek... if I see a new set up I'll enter and go back to bed with the last alarm at 5:50am my time. I close all trades at that...
