Quoting ikholodDislikedA currency by itself does not move, what moves is the rate on two currency cross. Therefore, when you say that you noticed that EUR and GBP move in tandem, I'm sure you are refering to EURUSD and GBPUSD. Now, that I've added the other side to the equation, it's easy to see why they would move in tandem. They are both effected by the USD news and events. However, don't forget that even though they almost always move in tandem they sometimes don't (i.e. when the news only effects the pound and not euro).
To make a long story short, it's not that one currency initiates the move and the other one follows, it's rather some events occur (like US unemployment data is released) that effect both crosses.Ignored
Quoting 4xmyworldDislikedHi,
Ive been following forums for quite sometime now. Everyone with thier own opinions through thier own analysis and persumption. But at the end of the day its either a pair will go Long or go Short. end of story.
If i create a polling page on currency pair either going Long or Short basing on specific time frames where anyone can vote regardless of how they derived their answer.. do you think it will receive response and feedback from internet 4x traders ?
The winning answer is what the majority says which may or may not be the right answer.
Even this itself is voting of some sort.
Let me hear your views, friends.Ignored
