Asian Session trade. Gold sells. Trade result: stopped out at Break Even

Tried 30m SR break and retest EURUSD
(candle closed 2h after London open - so it was an entry out of the correct time)
SL hit -1R
HTF: 4H recent trend down (making LHs and LLs), but it was retracing up with some impulse, so I thought a buy would not be out of question.

Would apreciate if someone could answer this: If this trade had been inside correct trading hours, would it have been a valid entry?
I believe I understand the 123 change of trend pattern well.
The break of SR I have more trouble with.

I'm still reading and organizing the main points of the thread (currently at post #1800)

would you plan to re enter later, in case you see another rejection candle on the same resistance? or rather stick to the rules and wait for new york or next day tokyo open?

Figured I should start posting my trades here aswell since i spent so much time reading trough the thread. I feel abit stuck im my trading so I feel I need some constructive feedback. This is a trade a took today based by the system. Price broke trough a strong keylevel (Weekly Support) and closed above on the 1H TF. It does show a downtrend on the LTF so that may be a red flag but on the HTF its still in an uptrend. Also might be dumb to place a trade when I have a 1H SnR zone so close above but i figured it might break trough. This trade did not work out and got hit at SL for -1RR.

Also starting on this method. Got in the same point.
I think it could have worked out.

Another point I see agaist the trade is the green rejection candle to resistance right before mkt open.

Sometimes even if everything aligns, trade just doesn't go your way. That's why this is a game of probabilities and with correct RR like this thread and with some experience, you can be very profitable. What counts is how much % you made at the end of month.
Regarding GU pair above, I would probably took the same position and got stopped out.
I will not go into details and let experienced traders here answer.

Positive news for the EU - US the ongoing tariff talks

EURUSD set its own baseline 11700 for the rally

knowing what is happening fundamentally also helps.
knowing when not to trade, when to trade.
fomc over. price above 3 htf support. spend more time analyzing the htf.
showing us which direction to trade during coming frankfurt/london hours.
the rest is timing the market opening and ltf confirmation in direction of htf.

do these seriously all over with 25 -30 trades sampling. only one trade allowed for any one session.
win 2 out of 3 times means successful system for you.
if not, it does not mean that the system fails. just that there are always some traders who are just unable to see things coming together for it happen.

My trade of choice this morning. Stopped out for +1.5R after the push upwards.

Usually, I struggle to decide whether to break even or not because I like to let it breathe. But my logic here was, if it pushes this far up this quickly, and comes back down, I doubt it's going to rocket back up again.

GU Long. 2 pip wick. Target 15 pips from open bar. Late entry as pips moved a little before I made entry.

Late entry means much less than that, but the target is the target & it was hit.

I am not sure if we can trade the same currency pair during the same session in the system's rules.
The GU has another signal at the close of the sessions bar.

Price pushed below previous low, so I am bearish. I may be wrong though.
And on D, 4H there is a trend line which I'm counting on the price will touch or come closer.

You might find opportunities with other pairs. Try not to focus on certain pairs, focus on the valid entry of any pair, indices, gold.
Not saying that this setup will hit 7.5R, I am just posting for educational purposes.
