Using that "wonderful thing" called hindsight. The trade illustrated below would have been a better option for a 5 pip stoploss and a 7.5R profit.
Trading with the trend is often a better option.

Yeah, I wish they could get their act together; it would be a great platform if the data and trading was the same or quicker than Metatrader.

I don't know what the issue of integration is, any clues anyone?

Could be where they obtain data feed perhaps?

They just need to turn into an actual brokerage IMHO.

Just do it!

It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

It depends on the data feed you are looking at on trading view. Each instrumennt comes with options on which brokers you get the data from. Choose the brokerage (data feed) on TV so it matches your broker and it will be the same. Different brokers will always have slightly different numbers.Tradingview just takes a feed from the broker you choose

Yes indeed. I had 2 minds about it as I did see the buy pop up after, but I went with the sell initially as I saw a rejection on the H4 timeframe.
Also seeing the larger wick at the top of that sell candle convinced me that the rejection was from the top.
I'm still trying to figure this out but I'm getting there.

It all depends on the broker feed.
There are many broker feeds on TV, so depending on the one you pick you could end up with various price movements.

Today's trade is EUR NZD sells. 2R locked in. TP is set to 7.5R.

There's red folder news coming up for AUD. Not sure how this will affect the trade.

Update: I extended my TP to 10.5 R a little after the news hit and I now have 6R locked in.

Update 2: Extended TP to 12.5R and 7R locked in.

Final update: Trade SL hit at BE +7R, after which the price seems to be going further down lol.

As I entered one candle too early I recalculated the TP which is now set at 6.75R.

Update: I may close sells now as this looks like a buy is setting up.

Forgot to give an update: I set to BE+1 which was hit overnight (for me on the western side of the world where it's night time during the Asian session).

If I left my SL at BE it would have gone to TP.

It is down to timing. The best signal will be at the open. If you get a setup at the beginning of the 1.5hr window it is usually the strongest.

Thanks for answering Rob.
I'm definitely trying to get the experience by putting in the work every day.

On that note, I was locked down in some in office meetings today so I couldn't scan the NY sessions.
I'll try to pick a hindsight trade after work though.

Hoping to see more active participants as well.

Was trying the strategy yesterday cause it was so simple I had to.
So I tried taking a trade on XAU/USD 1:6RR, I used one indicator, the Berlin candles just to get an easier entry on the rejection candles.
