Personally, I think 1.3510 at the very most, although I think 1.3530 area is more likely. The dollar dump is back in play. Countries around the world want out of the dollar. This isn't people buying pounds, its the selling of dollars and this kind of price move is indicative of the mindset of "I just want out so I will sell at any price."

I think by the end of next year, the DXY will be < 70.

A mere 15%-ish retracement from the high was seemingly enough for the dollar sellers to start selling again.

Its possible that the DXY goes up to close the gap down on the todays open, but that might not be today.

EDIT: It's what I mean by "Sell at any price." They aren't waiting for a discount, but if an institution large enough to move the market wants to give them one, they'll happily snap it up and quickly.

Sell at any price.

I may be shit at trading, but I know what's going on. I see the DXY having a similar move to these two previous ones. But I won't be profitable because I'll just think "Surely it will have a pullback."

Don't short this, even for a retracement, if you are not yet certain of what you are doing. You'll get hurt. That's a weekly bullish engulfing candle with a megaphone pattern to book. You know the drill: up!!!

Jesus christ it's hard not to short.

Even though I see what I've explained, I look at a higher timeframe and think, "Surely this must fall a bit." so I expect to be taken out going long.
Now that I'm going to try to do it, watch it fall.
