Will I be able to post in this thread now? A few weeks ago I tried to make 2 posts and it wasn't possible. I'd like to know why Islandfx911 abandoned his other thread, I've created an automated strategy and I'd like him to guide me with a question about his 5 SMA strategy.

I’d like to know if you take into account the bar closes or the highs and lows. In my case, I use the close.

Hello, Teacher Islandfx911. I'm sorry to disturb you so late. I just found a great setup during backtesting on EU at the London open, which has a 7.5R reward. Regarding the entry points:
1. Is this an effective rejection signal? Although its lower wick isn't long, the price stayed above the red line (weekly support). However, entering here would have triggered a stop loss (SL).
2. Point 2 shows a clear rejection with a distinct lower wick. In hindsight, entering at point 1 was too early. If I had traded in the afternoon, entering there might still have led to an SL. I hope you can share your insights. Thank you for your time, and sorry again for the disturbance.

I notice that you ask this question about several methods. Of course, most logic tells traders to wait for the CLOSE, you need to know where the price is, as it affects the chart and all indicators.

There must more examples, you can look for them or do you need more spoon-feeding?

EA Following the strategy, both the 1-hour and 30-minute charts show rejection at the resistance level. The blue line represents yesterday's closing price. Achieving a 7.5R reward is quite impressive.I hope I can continuously improve the system.If I make any mistakes, please feel free to point them out. Thank you!
