Hi jcdb. I am fairly new to this thread also and from my experience I have gone from 5 pairs per session to max 2. I find it easier to focus on two charts, instead of scrolling through many every 15 or 30 min. At least in the beginning.

NZD/USD. There was no clear entry in 15-minute timeframe, but the overall set up was too good to skip. The trade is already at BE.

I'm currently just trying to train my eyes in recognizing the proper structure/ core of the PA.
I don't care too much whether the move continues or not (up to the market) but i would like to know if i spotted the structures correctly.
Just going from H4 (green), to H1 (Blue) to M15 (red).

The Light green lines represent the what i see from the leftmost extreme.
My thinking went along following lines:
Depart from the zone, defined on an extreme of the white (close) line
Go back to (or through??) the zone on an impulse (which i'm kinda missing here)
Then go back to the zone and look for a bounce heading south (using a rejection candle)

Would this be a correct assesment or am i still way off.

yesterday I was bird watching in lion country.

Today waking up listening to birds chirping.

- Buy setup at Daily SnR 24133 and Day Open H1 reject candle

- good for TP3 and anything more would be bonus

I don't know what to do anymore. I find that the directions I've been trading are all wrong, which is a huge blow to my psychology. I can't figure out what happened this morning – the US Dollar Index surged unexpectedly.

If you notice, my charts and EM's are very very basic. We are looking at price action / SnR.
I use a line chart for a crisp view of the pullback.
To start with, you only need to monitor the 15m chart at market opens and watch price action and SnR.
Don't over complicate the basics.

Today, I observed UJ and tried shorting, but got the direction wrong. I saw a rejection signal, and also looked at EA but didn't trade it. It's really a pity.
