Today it was supposed a bull day but bear day so far ! Anwayway watching for 3548 and 63 plus move if still today. At least over 3539 weekly close .
Though impulse waves becoming rare incidence and it looks impulse down .
Now break out signal at 3526; next 3548
Early confirmation 3535 !

For next week, the current area 3311 and the area 3298 are suitable for buying. Both should be monitored and we should enter the buy at the right time.

thing is if I take a hit (big one) I’m still in profit for the week. However I’m going to see where next week goes. Chances of a higher movement with a lot of data flying in and of course Trumps verbal diarrhoea

Yea if I have a losing day not too bothered but if I have a losing week then alarm bells start to ring, for me a week is the cut off...

Another weekly close below 1.35425. The question remains. Do we chop around this area for 2 more weeks like in the previous consolidation period, before another up move to 1.38843? Time will tell, and patience is key. I suspect if they push it up quick, we can see a reversal soon.

GBPUSD UPDATE 08/06/2025
Buyers are still in control of medium term trend though Intraday Sentiment has already fallen into Range with Range High and Range Low being represented by Yellow zones

I will be looking to Buy with Pullback to 1.3506/1.3520 zone. Stop loss @ 1.3485. 1st Take profit @ 1.3550/1.3560 zone, 2nd Take Profit @ 1.3585.

The strength of Buyers to break the Range High @ 1.3580/1.3620 cannot be determined for now. However, if the range high is broken to the upside, next take profit level for the buyers @ 1.3680/1.3720.

Its important to point out that weekly resistant is at 1.3550/1.3560 Zone equating my 1st Take profit and Daily resistant is at 1.3580/1.3585 zone equating my Range High but Sellers Strength has not reflected in both the daily and weekly pricing because the Bull are still alive.

Its important to also state that the two sentiment indicators on my 4 hour chart are still indicating Buy with resistant located at 1.3560 equating my 1st Take profit zone.

W/e summary & analysis

* Price met supply @ the 3616/17 wkly hi, which is just into the dly part as well, of the prev dly/wkly sw hi zone = prev res now = pot res that extends up to 3444, from early Feb, year 2022.
* Price closed the week above it's Wkly Pivot, after opening below it and then rising above it on Monday, and staying there all week, It has also stayed and closed above it's Mthly Pivot all week after opening the new month above it, and so far being above it all month. Price is also still above Yrly R1 which is @/around 3197, (Yrly R2 is @/around 3882.)
* The< 13wk awr wkly candle (72%) closed bullishly, but like the wk's before has a long upper wick. The t/f closed the wk still in it's general uptrend.
* Fri's< 30day adr dly candle closed bearshly (maybe even bearish engulfing on some price feeds,?) a downside follow-thru on Thurs's hammer candle whose hi made a new 3616/17 current mthly/yrly hi , a 2ndf consecutive HH in this part of it's general uptrend which is still intact.
* 4Hr closed the week probably in a general uptrend, with 1Hr probably in a so far classic downtrend.
* The first upside b/o of the previous wk's/mth's 3593 hi proved false, as price pulled back below it, and closed the week below it. Price though is still above last yr's 3434 hi.
* 34% of 6mth amr traveled so far this month.

We are, with Trump, in an 'anything can happen' type of market, even more so than usual. Fri's NFP headline # held up better than some had feared, given last week's earlier ADP #. Some more important scheduled data releases are due this coming week on both sides. The technical question going into next week is I guess, to what extent the recent £ strength/$ weakness (more $ weakness) may be getting towards the bull's exhaustion point, temporarily or otherwise?
