...the last 1hr candle close before the week's close looked as though the bears meant business going into that close!? - a bearish thrust engulf x last 4 candle.

if it confirms I will go short, if it doesn’t I won’t.
TBH, from a swing trading view, I feel I have finally learnt that trading on what actually happens rather than what I think will happen is what will give me better results.

Your 5 month chart shows TL confluence at 1.35 Resistance zone.

Zebi’s target aside, (if) it confirms in the manner I have in mind, then you probably don’t want to know the target zone I have a mental note about.
I like having targets, but learning to be flexible as events unfold is my goal.

Short term trade - Looking to buy at 1.34523 area. A break above, further upside potential at 1.35 - 1.351 conservative. Bullish on this pair.

Dollar strength early in the week. The 1.33500-1.33700 area will be my support zone for longs, not before then. The AB=CD very much still in play.

The GBPUSD price action on the daily time frame is sideways at the 1.34500 intra-day horizontal support. Although we cannot rule out southward market engineering in the early part of this week, recent technical prints favour bulls more than bears.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.
