As anticipated. The breakout on the weekly timeframe is happening as of writing. We have the 20th to month end which should see volatile moves but more importantly a weekly close above 1.33033 ish needed. Immediate target remains 1.35425.

Trump wants a lower dollar. He's on record saying that. A strong dollar hurts other countries and dampens global trade. It also makes it more expensive for foreign countries to buy US debt and exports.

GU 1H

Channel broke to the upside and hit the long time Resistance with a fairly immediate rejection or profit taking. No trade here, wait for it to show its hand and then see what the charts offer. Being a breakout offering a 1:1 R/R it was not worth risking, however technical behaviour concluded.

<Edit> There is a larger pattern suggesting a confirmed break of 1.344xx level has room to go north, however the break needs to confirm in the days ahead. Maybe some fundies will push it, the holidays might slow it down.

Now target goes to resistances 3476/86 and weekly target 3575.take care
Similarly for eurusd now resistance 1255 , target 1280
