Yeah, I think bumpy is the right word. They sure have nice bumpers don't they. LOL. I was over at the GBP/JPY thread for a while.

I agree. That analyst is consuming narcotics in my humble opinion because:

a) Interest rate cuts are economy-boosters that favor consumer spending and encourage investment (stocks become a more attractive option than the savings account).

b) Immediate market-shock effects of a rate cut is to lower the value of the dollar, because interest is the price of money and carry trades depend on interest.

The guy is probably right about the dollar being at the end of it's bear cycle though, and this will show on the charts for the rest of august.

In with you, shorted Euro (30 pips above) and waiting to short cable on open. I am almost certain they will fall hard, probabilistic analysis and end of news surge + new dollar strength. Can't count on price activity near end of friday, but let's see what happens.

When I was a little tot, my mommy always told me to be optimistic. If and when the sh!!t does hit the fan, I will be as far away from the charts as possible, let the butterfly effects work themselves out as cool as they like.

I was not saying u were right or wrong, I am just saying that things can change in a New York minute, either way. I myself am long the Yen. What do the stars say about that?

In order to do proper technical analysis you must concentrate on the whole picture, not just on what pleases your current position. LOL

interbankfx llc #86 is in OK shape not great but not bad, a very sad sight compared to the above interactive brokers or jp morgan fututres

I've been with FXCM over a year now. I have a mini account and so far I did not problems with them. I withdrew funds a couple of times without hassles.
Their platform works fine.

I to have withdrawn money and also find that there spreads are tight. My concern was with the list that Orionsway posted.

It shows FXCM with low funds and also Forex capital markets with high capital. some of the low fund companies have been getting closed down or going out of business etc. I am more than sure that we are with forex capital markets but connot check this until monday when they reopen.

I love the platform and the buy/sell method and do not wish to change so hope that i am correct and we are safe, also recently found out that the platform is compatable with MT4. even better as there are alot of indicators being put together for that platform.

things can only get better.
