Does anyone know why so many contracts are being written? The Tic has been going wild for more than six hours now and the spread is huge.

I am glad it is not just me and my broker that is seeing this. My only guess is that it is because so many banks are closed due to so many bank holidays, thus creating such thin liquidity.

Hi Nala

Due to the Holidays period, there is only a fraction of limit orders being placed on the charts. Basically Market Makers aren't there adding liquidity.
So it's not contacts executing in large numbers, its very low liquidity accepting market orders.
Trading thin liquidity at the boundary of the charts

Don't be caught selling EU. It's going straight to 1.1492 at least. See daily and 4hr charts below respectively. In fact, I have added buy at 1.1394. TP 1.1494. Those triangles filter all the way down to the lowest timeframe and that's usually a strong case for continuity to the upside and it might be explosive.
