Hi Cog,
As I live in Australia I am influenced by the AUD and JPY pairs.
I currently trade AU, EA, GA, AJ, UJ, EJ, GJ. DAX in the Euro session and NAS and US500 in the US session.
I could trade just trade AU, AJ and UJ in the morning session. It is down to what looks good and stop size as I want to maximize the trade.
If I was in your location I would look at DAX and GU then if you want to trade US market I would look at NAS and US 500.
You will find that most traders like to trade their local currency but you should be able to trade whatever you want with this system.

EJ, entered 8.15 after London open on rejection candle and bounce from trend line. Stopped after deep pullback.

I live in Denmark, but am a night owl and normally sleep doing the euro session - but often fiddle around in the asian and new york sessions.
A lot of people say the asian session is slow, but you clearly show that its very profitable - done the right way.

What session per your experience - would be the most profitable and easy to trade with your system - if any above others?

The majority of winning trades are from the Asian Session.

Can we imagine that the entry candle in that example was red and a little higher up, so it fits with the previous candle - would you still have taken the trade, but reduced the target since the stop-loss would be bigger - let's say instead of a 7,5 - then perhaps only a 4 or 5R if there isn't a logical zone to target?

Do you ever do an reentry - if your trade is taken out right after, and the next candle again clearly indicates a rejection? Or do you just call that setup over?

I have come to the conclusion that aiming for bigger rewards is the ultimate way to go - since the winrate required is so low for us just to be breakeven. And if we can master the right entries and give us self an edge - then its gonna print green.

Hi TG,
A short entry requires a Green Rejection Candle and long entry requires a Red Rejection Candle. That is a firm rule and cannot be changed.
I will always try a re-entry if stopped out. It took me three attempts to buy GJ last week. (3 is the max attempts I will try)

For those of you that want to learn this system, I have some homework for you.
I have put together some basic drawings to help you identify trades.
If you can master this simple task you will be on your way to becoming successful.
Some instructions:
Open a 15m line chart, take all indicators off of the chart.
Identify the Last validated swing high or low. (This can be from the prior day)
Monitor how price reacts prior to market open. You want to identify the Impulse move (This can be before the open or after) you just need to see it.
Note: Often the market is falsely push up or down to fill orders.
When you have identified the Impulse Move you can draw a rectangle as per the diagram. That will be a buy zone or sell zone.
Then you wait until the market pulls back to the zone.
Note: It does not matter if price pulls back and goes through the zone, however be cautious of a pullback that does not reach the zone as the market may move closer on the next candle.
Next you need to wait for a Rejection Candle in the zone area.
Red Rejection Candle for Bullish
Green Rejection Candle for Bearish
Enter trade on close of Rejection Candle
Put SL at high or Low of wick on the Rejection Candle that got you into the trade. (Allowing for spread)
Set TP at 10R (This will be adjusted after you are in the trade)

Trading Times: Only place trades in the first 1.5hrs of any market open.

Rejection Candles.
You must enter on the Rejection Candle otherwise you risk valuable pips.

Hello Rob, i don't post much and mostly lurk around, but I have been compelled to say thank you for gifting us with this wonderful thread. It started off as a slow read for me but I have been coming back to it several times now and only recently grasped the full scope of it. I have been looking at charts for a year and have only just become aware of those 'wick-ed' up support/resistance zones that you use as launch pads for rejection candles. How could I have missed literal blocks of rejection zones is beyond my comprehension, but now I see them on every chart and timeframe. Anyway, thanks for the eyeopening and a wonderfully simple strategy, you improved lives friend
