All you need to trade this system. 1. Last Validated Swing 2. Pullback 3. Rejection Candle 4. Timing - Market Opens There is an entry every day.
Wonder if you could project those 4 conditions onto one of your charts for us please. Makes sense but would be great to see how you determine each of these. As the saying goes - A picture is worth.......
And no - your thread ain't boring.
There are some real good threads on FF at the moment and the likes of Vid's / Blues / Ricks posts are a part of my daily schedule. It is fun to see how everyone else views their charts and sometimes there is a chance of picking up a tiny piece of the puzzle that might turn a mediocre strategy into a great one. I will give you a live example. This is my trade for today.
GA long.
1. LVH is marked on the chart.
2. PB is Pullback after the market traded higher and closed above the LVH.
3. Rejection candle is the entry (Red Candle)
4. Timing (Trade was opened during Asian Session)

I am just waiting for a trend change and a pullback.
The trend change will occur when the market has an impulse move through a prior swing high or low, this is your first sign that the market is turning.
The impulse / thrust move will always be a strong move.
Then I wait for a pullback, these are usually a weak move followed by a sharp thrust move in the direction of the impulse move.
Note: If you are not in the trade before the 2nd trust move you have missed the trade.

I'm curious to know:
- Once a trend is confirmed, can the highs also be traded in the event of a deeper pullback?
- If a zone has already been used once, will it still be valid for a future pullback?

I use a TP approximately 80% of the average daily range. This means that if I get into a trade that has broken out of a range where the entry is, lets say 25pips I could add in, however if the entry was a trend change pullback and the market has already moved 50pips I would not average in. The market might not have the room to profit from an add in.
To be truthful with you I very rarely add to a position. I have done the maths in detail and to me there is no benefit.
If I can place a trade and get 10R on it I load that sucker up with a bucket load of coin on the entry.

There was another pullback however no Rejection Candle. If you trade rejection candles you will maximize your trading system, any trading system as a matter of fact.
I have studied most of the recent systems and there is a great deal more potential if the traders would accept rejection candles as a point of entry.

Adding to a position.
GJ printed a rejection candle that could have been traded.
As you can see on the chart it is not in my trading hours so I would not take it.
We'll see how it goes.
Just to follow on with this add in. There will always be a swing point in the near vicinity which may be the reversal. That's why it is imperative that you don't take just any pullback and why I only trade the first pullback after the trend change.

GBP/AUD ... Update..
I dont think that is an exact Robs Setup (wrong timing)... but I get my feet wet with a small position. (I prefer learning with real Trades).
I put the Trade to breakeven and let it do its thing.
The Setup looked too nice not to take it.... Rob.. dont hurt me

Although it is not within my trading parameters you have got the right idea.
I trade the market opens because there is energy at that time. Trades out of these hours tend to drift.
The main thing when placing trades is enter on the rejection candle.
