Tips to help identify entries.
I use a black chart with grey line for price, nothing else. This is all I am looking at to find my trades.
GA chart was from this morning, AU chart is current Euro zone.

NAS looking a bit sad and SL could be hit.

It all depends on this candle close. If it is a Rejection Candle, I should be good for some profit.
If it closes low, SL imminent.

Price has traded strongly through Resistance. SL moved up to underside of Resistance.

Quick doubt (not seen answered):
In this scenario, should i sell close of candle 1 (I mean, closing was above S&R área)?
What about close 2, is it a continuation buy? Thanks all

in order to receive a proper assessment, show the full data with more candles, not a limited one.
in other words, the 16 5min candles chart you had shown is quite useless, could very well be ranging.
other things like is it during market opening.
also the higher time frames can help too. h4, h1, m15.

  1. Candle 1 is not a rejection candle, So, should not sell on close 1.
  2. Why to buy on close2? Since its a sell zone. A mere 5 mins close few pips beyond the zone does not make it a flip zone, IMO. So, no buy on close2 either.
  3. In this scenario, sit on your hand.

Its personal reference and experience. Some sell on 1st candle because it has wick above that indicates resistance.
People who got stopped out on 2nd candle will definitely re-enter on 2nd candle close.
Me - I play it even safer, I like to see proof and I wait when price starts to move away from zone and I enter on 3rd candle.

But more experience I gain more confident I get to sell on 2nd candle and I can add to the winner on 3rd candle.

You are right R:R should be result based on market logic ( not pre-planned on traders needs ).
I have always different size stop ( based on entry candle length + some ).
and different size target too ( based on how far next level is).
I might be wrong , I have been wrong before
