... re other pot res factors - that 2609-11 cluster - add into it the 1.272% fib ext of the 2550-2331 dly swing. 1.5% of it is @ 2659, 1.618% @ 2685.

...just looking more closely above that prev 4hr/dly/wkly sw hi zone that extends up to 2607 (from 30th Dec 2024,) it is in fact a 1st test and hold as res of a prev 1hr/4hr sw hi zone that extends to 2614, (from 20th Dec 2024.) Above that and there is a prev 1hr/4hr sw lo then hi (1st test and hold as sbr) zone that on 4hr extends 2661-73, (from 19th Dec 2024.)

the weird thing is that Fundamentals back strong USD and weak GBP yet price is breaking year 2025 high. I know 1.2712 will be touched this year but not expecting it till March/April. This bullish move is somewhat not adding up, Gold is also breaking all time high while bitcoin is now stalling.

Hi, yes whilst UK fundie outlook is presently weak, Trump and his tariffs have thrown a 'spanner in the works' of the strong U.s economy -vs- weak UK economy equation, particularly with the surprise pick-up in Uk GDP growth announced earlier this week. I guess too that if Zebi's much vaunted Rep -vs- Dem Presidents chart pattern repeats, we could be @ the start of that, ie we might not see 2100 again anytime soon?

...you can see on the dly chart the origin (Dec 30th last year,) of the prev sw hi zone = pot res where the 2596 current dly hi is, and of course the pot rbs zones below it, on that t/f.

We may see 1.2200 but strong doubt for 1.2100... chart below is year 2017 January/February Trump's first tenure... This may give some clue. Republicans usually weaken the dollar but 1.22 is still in the picture here.
