Donald Trump has called for interest rates to be lowered, and said they would “go hand in hand” with tariffs he plans to announce.
He made the quip on Truth Social:

How long are you willing to hold? Will you hold all through this quarter? The dollar should fall if no pandemics and all that happens. However, it may be the next quarter before it starts and GU price can easily reach hundreds of pips lower before the sweet take off. I'm sure you know your stuff anyway. Enjoy your pips when they come.

Because of high inflation, rate cuts are off the table. Dollar bullish this quarter and maybe next quarter.

The negative thought I have for that short is not even the spike ups, but the facts that monthly pivot at 2366 is still intact. If it keeps surviving bulls will make it a good month. But let's keep watching. My short is still on.
