Further point to conside, to the above techincal, were watching the the reaction from Trump announced plans to impose tariffs on EU and China starting 1st.February.

On Wednesday, the ECB President, Christine Lagarde, will deliver a speech that could influence the markets. (Note ,she always screw up most of the times)

The we got Trump's policies might strengthen the U.S. dollar, which could put pressure on the euro.
Expect for the ECB to adopt a dovish stance are growing.

Anticipate a rate cut on 30thJanuary and predict the benchmark rate will drop to 2% by the end of the year.

Enjoy the trade, and watch for Trump next move.

Technically, this EW can be start of EW3, the price break above and hdol.
If it is EW C, the it will reject and continue down momentum.

Further, cable steady at 1.2346 after a two-day rally.
Trump confirmed that a universal tariff hike is still being considered.

However, the USD remains stable as Trump did not impose new tariffs on his first day in office.
The Federal Reserve (Fed) is expected to keep its benchmark interest rate between 4.25% and 4.50% during the January meeting.

Trump's policies could raise inflation, potentially limiting the Fed to just one more rate cut.

BoE is likely to cut interest rates in February.
Markets expect one or two more cuts after that.
Recent data showed slower-than-expected inflation and weaker economic growth, leading to expectations of a 25-basis-point rate cut to 4.5% during the BoE's meeting on 6th.February.

Wait and see first., we got some other pair to trade with beeter set up, eg. like YEN crosses or Indexes.

My Newbie gem:

Every high probability move starts with a stop hunt into a HTF level (FVG, OB, etc)
High probability isn't random.
It's all about the HTF framing.

Shake out the weak, then ride the real move.
If you're not looking for this you're leaving money on the table.

GBPUSD UPDATE 22/1/25
Waiting for pullback to minimum of 1.2295 to start looking for a buy.

4 hour trend has turned bullish after touching the weekly Support which acted as a strong resistance against daily bearish trend.

Intraday sentiment remains trending inside 30 min. while it has become mixed in 10/15 min. chart.

This might be the beginning of a strong price move to test 1.25xx to 1.27xx zone.

Trade management is key.

Have a nice pipping day.
