Market then pulled back hit my Stop, just, then moved into my TP target & target was hit.... in fact it went so far as to move 4:1, showing that a 2.3:1 was on the cards to be taken from the market.
Perhaps the lesson from this trade could be to set the trade and walk away and ignore the S/R zones? We will see.

Bearish bar with a wick close confirmed in the Support zone 1 hour before current bar of entry. Market has stayed under entry point, entry Long made.
3 :1 target set - TP/SL = 23.2 : 7
BE set at 1:1 for BE

Adjustment:
Market has moved 2 :1, so BE+1 has been implemented as per screenshot.
No more interference in trade, will let it run its course.

Buy 1.2538, SL at 1.2535 (-3) and TP at 1.25605 (+22.5) 7.5R

I would never have taken that entry, so I will continue to read the thread and ascertain why that was a good S/R point to mark out on the charts.
I understand the candle pattern you used though... and a 3 pip Stop is also new to me. 3 pips is no wiggle room from my past trading ... so this method you are demonstrating will take a while to settle into I suspect.

I am out of my trade at 1.25605 for a +17 (Original TP )which is not bad as I was late to the party.
The chart shows the correct place to enter as per my system and also my actual trade.
This is a good time to show why you have to enter on a rejection candle.
So if I had been less lazy today that would have been 15R for the day but we will call it as it is with the second trade being a 2R.
There was also a 7.5R trade yesterday making it 17R in two days.
How many of you are hitting those numbers with your system?

Morning Sir

Please excuse the question as I may have missed read the rules. The entry above was taken at 6.45 candle close UK Time. (Nice entry) But was it not 1 hour prior to the London open. I only ask as I did see it but was waiting for 8am.

Hi SR, You can use any colour background you like.
Always plot H4 support and resistance on charts (Best using a faint colour)
I have my charts side by side as it is easier to see the wicks
Make sure you use the rectangle tool and plot correctly from body of candle to high or low of wick.

Hi Martin,
It just depends on market activity at these times. I have been caught out before getting in early but I don't mind because I am only risking 1R on the trade and with winners being 7.5R you can make mistakes and you will still be way in front.
You have to be fluid and flexible with your trading. Adapt to market conditions and always be prepared.
