In fact, anyone with a brain knows that the USA is the second leading exporter in the world, and that a lower dollar will help improve the competitiveness of US goods. Petroleum products are part of the mix, as are airplanes, industrial goods, and defense goods, among many more. The next administration is focused on bringing manufacturing back to the US, and a more competitive dollar may be part of the strategy.

I understand Zebi's yearly charts, especially Thatcher's double bottom , but yearly is a long timeframe and lend themselves to a lot of trading "wriggle room" from monthly TF and lower. I mean, 1.4 - 1.6 in four years?? Seriously? What on earth does this mean to even typical longer term swing traders going off daily TF's and higher? Not much in my book, unless you are allowing for potentially quite a few hundreds of pips drawdown to achieve these targets over the next 4 years. 2021 showed that a close above midpoint does not mean it cannot...

I stand corrected. But you are still wrong. The US is the second largest exporter in the world, and is the second largest manufacturing economy in the world (that should cover your "make" misconception). The rest of your comments above are as stupid as your comment on US exports.

Yes, the US is the second largest exporter in the world ($3.05 trillion in 2023) after China,
and the US is also the largest goods importer in the world, U.S. goods imports from the world (totaled $3.2 trillion in 2022)

I think you relayed some facts wrong there, anyway, it's the at least $1T trade deficit that says the US's biggest export is the $.
In return, they get real things.
A tariff is paid by the country from which it originates.
