It's strange that Euro hasn't move a lot....

Is there something going on in UK that I should be aware of?

No idea, and no news to help point fingers. It's probably a few factory orders that got racked up, my best guess anyway. And it's specifically GJ that's getting heavily sold (or rather Yen bought), GU and UJ seem to be acting as followers today, I wish somebody in a bank could tell me what was going on!

Is this flashing news? I mean on the insurance companies, not the floods.

This would be a good reason to spread panic -> carry unwinding...

With UJ going down, it is not a "dollar recovery" event.

BTW, I'm not complaining, my shorts are growing fat.... Just wanted to know the reasons.

And USDCAD SHOOTING up despite USD selling for Yen. Very wierd activity today. I have a short open on USDCAD just now at 1.0500, and a GJ long from down below, but very uncomfortable. Is anyone feeling comfortable today? Please give me your address and I will have you assassinated immediately.

it also may be due to the fact the 2nd consecutive indicator of housing market shows slowdown in price growth.

i am going to wait for conformation 4h candle close below 504[ichimoku cloud] if so I'll sell and feel comfortable

Euro is trying to crack the 23% fib of last run up... If it goes, cable could follow suit...

And this would place this Thursday in the hall of fame

Well if the USD data comes out positive as well, that could be the catalyst to push sub 2.04 numbers

Logically speaking, why would they push price down to strong sup level without intentions of using that data what ever it is to propell them through this area of support. They can absorb as much buying as they want at a very fast pace jumping through sup with ease, if that is the markets true desire.
