Things won't change much in the government payrolls like people expect it to be. Since you can't really fire a government officer unless they broke the laws. It's not gonna be as simple as Twitter.

To answer your question if Elon can rein in the debt beast and bring it under control but at the same time the US economy grows then it'll be a positive outcome.
US needs to start caring for it's own citizens, money for everyone else but none for the people that vote them in power and pay taxes. Katrina, LaHaina, North Carolina all devastated and very little help....

The presidency, both houses and the judiciary.
Surprised you don't know this and really need to keep breath of what's happening in your own country
