Thank for reply. It’s not too bad result. Honestly. 24.7% a year with minimal screen time is good compared to 12-14% avg passive.

Im not trying to go into the past but I remember pretty correctly how you slammed my TE when I purposefully let it into minus to prove a point. You talking about “haters” but you were one of them. Sure there has been bad jokes one way and other but you did same thing to me that others are doing to you. And if I remember correctly then you and Ferna and the third guy(whos banned) were the only ones and no one else said anything I hope it’s a lesson.

But to sum up then atleast you are honest with results. I’m pretty confident that folks here are not making anything. Gambling and coming to troll, act out and sell shit. Make money out of dummies. It’s not only in trading business. There are people like that in every industry. So yeah. People should be more alerted of with whom and what they share. Since you are not selling anything (to my knowledge) then I’d say keep posting. What does it matter what a living in the moms basement knucklehead thinks.

To everybody; as long as nobody is selling you anything. Its ok. If any of the regular posters start offering you ANY kind of service for bucks then ASK FOR REAL RESULTS. Not pictures. Real brokers. Real results. I wouldn’t trust anyones service tho. Because 100% they are fking you over cause they can’t make consistent bucks with their strategy. Why else sell it(don’t say helping others, this is dumbest objection ever. If you want to help just help for free lol).

Yes remember it well, constantly trolling you and you stopped posting I presume because of it, WaveGarrick you really need to go back and read your posts as you are making a fool of yourself, stop playing the victim, you have proved to everyone that you are one of the main aggressor's here, if you can't take it don't give it...

No I didn’t stop because of that i do like to come in occasionally but if this place is going to take up too much of my time then something is wrong haha.

EDIT: When I joined FF I thought that it’s place where there are actual traders. I was wrong haha. As a newbie I would RUN from these forums.

I would say USD and Gold will keep going up until the elections. USD and Gold bullish for me until 5 November.

And after the elections Dollar may lose value because elections will be "old news". No matter who wins. I am talking about a move of 200-300 pips on EU and GU after the elections. A relief rally for a short period of time. Probably for a week or two.

Strangely enough I am in a similar situation as you. In 2008 I belonged to FX street run by Francesc Riverola a highly respected guy who regularly communicated with us on a personal basis. A go to guy. My thoughts however went to Forex Factory which seemed a giant leap in my trading progress if I had to join, because from my observations this was where trading stars were born. Unfortunately, the FX Street private forum ceased to exist somewhere in 2012. I however did not join Forex Factory because of my inexperience and incompetence to join with well versed traders. I joined Steve Hopwood's forum and gained immense experience from him. I eventually had enough confidence and took a leap of faith in 2017 and joined Forex Factory. My immediate experience was a lack of interest by the forum owner and its well-versed star traders.

no need for newbies to run they just have to be more discerning who they "learn" TA from

I always envisioned trading as a shark tank that newbies have to swim thru without bein eaten. it wasn't till I came to FF till I met so many scammer,charlatans, posers and fakers. i never knew photoshop was such a powerful tool as its used in here..or the guys that post a screenshot of their entry an hour after price has moved their way or just a screenshot of their profits...anyone that falls for that deserves to be fleeced

or even the video gurus who post their trades by using the playback feature most platforms have so the guru already knows where prices will be when he filmes his video after the fact which the playback feature makes look like its realtime

that's why I keep saying read at least the weeks chat from around the market turns off the daily or weekly charts and you'll see which TA works and which TA is crap over and over again LOL

FF was a better place with more honest "teachers" 10 years ago before the hordes of young kids opening up challenges with a 100 dollars the last 3-4 years and prancing around showing they made 10k in a week ROFLMAO... and then switching into guru status when they get enough followers

back when it took lots of money to open brokerages accounts meant we had a better class of people LOL

guys like gatorinla or sisse or even davit as crazy as he was for years are the guys to learn from not some snot nose kid of 21 whose still prolly a virgin since sex before marriage is illegal in so many places LOL
also stay away from red dots who started 10-20-40 threads cause that was the way to gather subscribers back in the day so the only thing all those people looked for was getting "senior" status as soon as possible for their own narcissistic reasons that had nothing to do with teaching beginners or even trading ....but the new kids now days have gamed the system even more...a guy named saal got his red dot in just 60 posts....i guess he's up to 145 now LOL..i commented about that then LOL...all you have to do is subscribe to 2000 people and some of those will return the favor and become buddies and presto you're a big shot LOL

Sure. But what does it mean when you watch dollar index? What are you watching there? How do you measure current dollar price and why? Why money is moving to ten year treasuries? I’d ask these questions for example and try to answer them by measurable things like: interest rates, jobs, inflation and relationship between them. Future outlook FED policy. Try to understand from where is money moving and to where. Who is benefiting from transactions. Then you know how to position yourself better.

hi. Yea I’m mostly gonna trade the DJIA and the S&P 500 so that’s why I look at them. Well I just look at the charts the indexes and the dollar vix and tnx to kinda get an idea on where the money is flowing. I do ask all of the above about this so I can try to be on the right side of the market so trading becomes easier. I know all about the vix. But thanks for that I’ll take note of it.

edit. Also watching the dollar for me tells me that if the index is crashing and the dollar is going up with a high vix and high tnx, it’s saying the market is not liking the uncertainty of things and people are putting money in safer places. To me if I see the I feel like there would be buy side liquidity for the dollar in the fx market and I could capitalize on the panicking by trading fx.


using the vix for the indices if high tells me people are possibly moving money to safe havens and if the dollar goes up I have an idea why. So yes very applicable to the fx majors with the right approach
