Again, market still has no breakout, but looks like in budling "Setup of the week" Process. Need to order extra patience for this.

Below 3040 leg comes first may due usdx bull strong, anyway 3040 good support and starting test long now and lows for 3070 if works ! Low can be 3032!

Strong Bearish continuation channel in daily, 4 Hr and 1Hr time frames. DXY showing two strong candles above 102.500 and today above resistance of 103.300.

target for DXY is well set towards 104 levels.

possible a correction towards DXY (to 102.500) and GBPUSD to 1.30900. For a re-entry sell.

I am bearish all the way to 1.30250 and then to 1.28700.

Yes I bought just b4 Frankfurt and then again after the drop....

Cable wants to fly but dragged down by the euro

G/M, a < 30day adr doji candle on the dly y/day and another test of the prev 1hr/4hr/dly/wkly sw lo zone = pot supp that extends down to 3001 (dly/wkly parts,) and more demand there, also in the coexistent prev 1hr/4hr sw lo zone = pot supp that extends down to last week's 3015 lo, and was a 1st test of the former. Today so far, some Uk data earlier and 1st false downside b/o of the asian lo, Asian hi is presently the current dly hi.

if stock with the long I’m tempted to see if get upto the daily R1 area. But for some reason a break above 13070 might just not happen as the mood does seem bearish else we wouldn’t be stuck below 131 for this long.

...as alluded to in my post above, y/day's 3029 lo (now a prev 1hr/minor 4hr sw lo zone = pot supp) was a 2nd 1hr test/1st 4hr test of the prev 1hr/4hr/minor dly sw lo zone = pot supp that extends down to last wk's 3015 lo. Price @ current dly lo just touched top of both of these, (@ the asc t/line,) and met buyers, after that Uk data.

1hr and 4hr both pretty 'congested' right now, and 1hr rangy. Current dly lo is above y/day's lo which is above last wk's lo.

seems very rangy indeed. 13050 seems to be the magnet for both bulls and bears with nothing to indicate a real break out. With the UK data being green maybe during LO we might see a move up towards the highs of yesterday before a move down? Also US data tomorrow might be the catalyst for a breakout

Hi, probably needs a sustained upside b/o of last week's 3134 hi to start to look serious re bulls?

Dly below

... tues/weds in particular last week were rangy, then we dropped to last wk's 3015 lo on thurs, and since then we have been ranging again. There has been no appetite to sustain either the start of a move south or north. What is the market waiting for, Is it the UK Cpi etc tomorrow? After that re data it's Uk then U.s retail sales on thurs/fri respectively.
