Countering directional bias of last week, perceiving an oversold market, bought off the little W formation, off yesterday's low completing a multi-day W.
Peak formation low put in on October 10th, following some news that produced some volatility.

Very nice analysis
A question - as it is the Asian session, would you have considered trading GbpJpy long instead?
i.e. GbpUsd gave the signal, but UsdJpy showed Jpy was weaker than Usd, so long GbpJpy - many more pips

G/M, a marginal ist false b/o of Fri's lo in Asian session to form the current Asian lo/current dly lo...price has risen from there and is now close to the current Asian hi. Last week's 3015 lo remains unchallenged so far today/this week, after seeing a bounce up/away from it on Thurs last week. It's that changeover period between Asia and Frankfurt/early London fx desks. U.s bank hol.

4hr in a general downtrend, 1hr a bit more rangy really.

1st fib cluster to upside 3090-96 - a 3 fib cluster, - 3111-17, a 5 fib cluster where 4 of them are 3111-14.

...London equities due to open in a few minutes on the hour. That 4hr falling wedge top/new wkly Pivot causing the res for the bulls right now. 30min and 1hr remain rangy right now, and intraday so far is neutral as of right now. 1st upside b/o of Asian hi just about holding? Last Fri's, then Thur's, then Wed's hi's above that.

...118pips was last wk's range, - we used to get that, and more - on a dly range! Wow!

Last week's 3015 lo (now a prev 1hr/4hr/presently v.minor dly sw lo zone = pot supp,) came in that prev 1hr/4h/dly/wkly sw lo zone = pot supp that extends down to 3001. This is coexistent with, and a 1st test of the mthly part of the prev dly/wkly/mthly sw hi zone = pot rbs that began @ 3142 (last yr's hi), and is v.wide on this t/f. On the wkly t/f it is coexistent with, and a 2nd test of the wkly part of the prev dly/wkly sw hi zone = pot rbs that began @ 3045, the 1st test being said 3001.

So, is it base camp for the bulls' attempt to ascend the heights,? -or- is it just a pitstop for the bears' journey lower?
