Looking at the price structure for the past days. Especially aggressive moves between 1.31000 and 1.30550. my view is that big players are hedging both buy and sell side.

based on the CPI report. If CPI increases. dollar strength. so move will be a) take out Buy side liquidity at 1.30500 B) take out sell side at 1.31100-1.31300 C0 move towards 1.30000

If CPI reduces then its A) take out Sell side, then B) take out Buy side and C) move towards 1.32000

just my views on understanding institutional trading. comments welcome

Gu seem to have met a rock bottom around 1.3064/1.3054 which seem to have stopped the downward movement from progressing, breakout of 1.3115 could alter the calculus for more aggressive bull run aiming for 1.3195

Keep the Lights on then you can catch the rise from the dark.

so i see just timely close as engaged my job . but pending short not activated there ! anyway watching where this candle stop next as bounce likely not over yet , may repeated do before CPI news ! so may to buy again !
open computer to see correctly ,. yest 3091 was a strong resistance that reacted / rejection . though bounce target 3096 +. now paice may rested 3064 before 3102 target before CPI

G/M, as Pat mentioned y/day 4hr has generally been making LH's and LL's during this period of consolidation (if that is what it is,) which has pretty much lasted the whole of this trading week so far, and is still in a general downtrend. The t/f though @ Asian lo/current dly lo has made a HL in that prev 1hr/4hr sw lo zone = prev supp x 1 =pot supp that extends down to yesterday's/current wkly lo @ 3055 (in that 3057-3046 4 fib cluster.) 4hr bullish regular div and dly bullish hidden div still present @ y/day's lo.

U.s Cpi day today and more Uk then U.s data tomorrow, so will likely see some more volatility and hopefully a b/o of this consolidation, either way.

4hr below (with 10/20/40 ema crosses graphic,) then downside fibs graphic.
