Man, yes... Shits can go crazy in Middle East...... Israel plus USA will wipe out all oil producing facilities in Iran . To say the least.

No power can stop them . This is already in the market imho .....I believe we might have seen some significant lows in E. and BP.

Ex-long term position trader here. I used to think that longer timeframes give more reliable results but man was i wrong. In a longer timespan you are more exposed to random risks. Such as wars, politics, central bank interventions etc.

I find shorter periods of time much more predictable. Longer you hold the trade, longer you are exposed to risks. The shorter they are, less chance for random stuff to happen.

Ofc we can agree to disagree, it's just my humble opinion. Cheers mate

Can you blame your bad system for failing trading long term positions?

see just to point a KISS way to trade long position,
just tell me how many pipis GBPUSD drop just in the las 5 days?
those put it in and out in and out in and out missed the big drop

The low close weekly to have better strength down for next week below 3121.
3250 may back having support around 3100 and test bear target next 3000 may take 2 to 3 weeks possible !
And daily doji may support weekly too ! Again , daily more likely test ,3000 before the bounce , may spike down , not solid candle ! Let's see

Checking pa usdx , hit the resistance tl strong , likely back to bottom or next floating support than breaks directly up!! So favour other bull try medium to more even ,
