I am done for the day. Some good wind today so of to Playa Encanto for some kite boarding. Followed by some Carne Asado and a couple Negro Modelos at Chabelas. My favorite dive bar with great food.

Day turning out like expected, shitty PA while waiting for fed funds announcement. Except for first trade just trading to trade. Done for now, will watch and only trade if I see a good breakout setting up.

I don't like entering on large candles and at 1 point that was a very large candle. Even though it pulled back it left a really big wick on a slow day waiting for
Fed Funds announcement. So I passed.

Traded from 6:30 till a little after 8, then had a bunch of errands to run. Tradeable PA on the messy side.

Buenos días

Happy to post again, following RP and Vivad for more than a year now. As they both developed similar systems that evolved to their knowledge and comfort. Right now following RP as itīs a more paced system and feel it gives me time to evaluate if I want to enter or not a trade.

As we say, finally itīs not about the system but about the trader and his knowledge. For the past months have been trying to practice with Rockypoint system. But donīt know if something from my way of view is missing, as I donīt get to a point of winning enough to at least not losing much haha life...

If you allow me Rocky, would love to share with you my daily trades and reasoning so maybe you can give me some feedback and help me understand your mindset with the charts.

Reasoning:
-8: Entered just after the last candle close, ADX was pointing up above 25, RSI seemed also with a good crossing. Decided to wait a few candles to see if recover as we were still in the upside of the BB, but trend continued down so decided to stop out.

+17: Good one, but now I see I could continue to ride the trade and not sell that soon. Wicks kept getting bigger and it was scary to keep on it!

+11: Decided to enter again as it kept going down, again feared of a reverse up close by and decided to stop sooner.

+16: Same as (+11) Luckily it played out well by luck as a bit after it reversed up.

Overly positive until I got the the next ones

-14:RSI crossing down, ADX pointing up. Just reversed up...

-21:RSI crossing up, ADX pointing up- Entered at the top of the wave, then reversed down super fast...

What I didnīt see in the lossing ones?

First trade -8 Number never enter on a red candle for a bullish trade. Also I'm assuming you entered on the candles before it closed exit was fine.
Before i go through the rest of the trades can you tell what time you are trading(NY time).

Number -8 I entered when the big green candle before the red one just closed and the next was just starting.

With all the signals aligned up at that moment, so didn't expected the new starting candle would turn red with me already in the trade, that's why I waited a few more candles, but trend reversed down. I see in your charts that you mostly don't stop when there is just one red candle and wait until a second red candle to get out, I assume you do that because there is big chances of continuing riding the trend.

I'm trading 9:00am to 10:30-11:00am as you suggest a few times in your threads.

It's from today in the ES. Same configuration as your lately setup.

I'm in UTC+1, so 9:00am in NY is 15:00 pm where I'm, so I trade from 15:00 to 17:00 local time to match the 9:00-11:00 NY.

We should have the same chart from today

Trading 9:00-11:00am NY time. (15:00-17:00pm local time you will see in chart).

Reasoning:
Trade 1: First strong move down since market oppening. Indicators aligned. Not bad exit according to conditions.

Trade 2:Rsi crosing, bar to the upper band of BB, ADX climbing. Market reversed to the upside down with bigger bars.

Trade 3: Big bars going down, RSI+ADX aligned. Big green candle reversed up, when ended I went out.

Trade 4: Maybe this time? Medium bard with indis aligned. Again, it reverse up and I went out.

Trrade 5: Though I could catch an early one. indis aligned. But again reversing up.

Trade 6: Price want to go up? So letīs go up! RSI climbing, ADX climbing just crossing the 25 line. Started to gain some ticks but lost them all as market reversed and crossed middle line of BB.

Trade 7: Realizing bars are holding in the down part of the BB, so I wait until a signal came from RSI and ADX. Same as 6 started to go positive but lost it all when market reversed and I went out when crossing the middle BB line.

Trade 8:Liked how full body bar formed, RSI climbing high, ADX turning up. Decided to wait a few bars until full bar crossed down the middle of BB, so decided to went out.

Conclusión: For me it seems like a crazy ranging shitty day with no clear market direction. Lost of -82 ticks.

Please, if there is someone who dosenīt want to be profitable, give me a call, I know exactly what you need to do haha.

Any feedback will be much aprecciated as always...

Hi, very interessted in this thread. What is the current strategy? Id like to test it out on bigger live accounts. Any chace someone who is more active in this thread can give me an overview. Pretty hard to gather info from 310 pages.

Dude you cannot take every signal that comes along. You need to use some discretion. Markets are just not moving today even NASDAQ is flat. Sometimes you just don't trade. Here's my thought process.

Price just stayed pretty much within the box I drew on first chart, Price structure stayed sideways. There was 1 trade i would've made money on but, i felt no confidence in what charts were showing today, so i passed. Part of the battle in trading is this, relying solely on what indicators are showing is a way to lose.
Because every system has false signals. It's ways harder to find reasons not to trade then is is to trade,
