Good morning, I am done for the day. 2 small losses, rest wins from small a nice big one. Nice PA for the day. PA right now stuck in a box, maybe I look for 1 more trade. We'll see.

So if I'm correct you are looking at charts for these 3 entries between 5:40 to 6:30 est. That is not a good time to be trading. What instrument is on the chart?
Best time to trade NY is 9:00 till 10:30-11.
So 17:30 (UK) on my chart = 12:30 (New York)
Lunchtime! so no wonder ranging, think I need to put a clock (EST) on my charts or change the timezone!
Sorry clipped the top of the chart, it's the ES.
Do/would you ever trade the afternoon session?

If you're trading American markets I think it's best to just set your NinjaTrader to EST like you say, and think about the time in terms of that.
I also have a simple indicator that I made to just draw vertical lines every 30 minutes with a different colour for 09:30.
I trade ES 09:30 -11:00 only, but apparently people trade 13:00 - 15:00 too.

Extremely rarely.
Jackpot today only traded 1 contract because it is NFP day. But just closed a huge move down +263. I am done for the day/week

Too soon after market open on NFP day, waiting let me see a swing hi form followed by a lower swing hi. From there just followed price structure, though no idea I would get such a big move.

Hi Fream1 - Not understanding what you mean by downloading the xml file. I guess you are trying to open it perhaps??
I cannot message you directly so how about trying this -
Place the xml file on your desktop.
Go to MY DOCUMENTS > double click NT8 > double click TEMPLATES > double click CHARTS
Finally just drag the xml file from your desktop & drop it into the Charts folder.

If successful - place the template on a chart & all the indicators will be there for you to observe & play around with.
Failing this - if you want to send me an email I will attach the indicators individually for you but the xml file is the best way to get the info to you.

Something I'm also learning from you (& Rick), let the trade run... I've been of the mindset- close the trade after reaching a set take profit.
Stop losses is something I'll need to work on.
got out while I was ahead, price just bumbling along.

What are your thoughts on moving a stop loss to break even when up RP?. On your first trade nice jump up, but then price came back down below your entry.

Got a great but unexpected ride back up on a divergence after a B/E and a small win on shorts. So, PA for the day pretty much back where it started.

When I was trading with the Renko/Heiken ashi candles I moved to B/E most of the time when I hit 20-25 ticks profit with Minute candles have been going B/E around 40-45 ticks profit.
BTW, happily done for the day.
